Dibond signs are ideal for fixing to posts, they can be drilled, screwed, riveted or nailed to walls. Being made of aluminium this sign won't rust or crack and takes knocks well. We produce our Dibond signs in a variety of shapes and sizes the most popular being A3, A2, A1 and A0 sizes. We can produce custom shapes and sizes to suit particular customer requirements.

Weather Resistant

These signs are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Even without the protective laminate coating they are weather resistant, will not rust, and will stand the test of time no matter where you use them. These gauge metal signs are thick enough to be durable but thin enough to be gorgeous no matter the setting.

Installation

The Dibond signs can be hung, installed on a wall or placed in stands or frames. If optional drilled holes aren't selected, holes can be easily drilled using a metal drill bit. Use rope, string, or bungees to hang, use screws with washers to attach to wood or concrete or use nuts and bolts to attach to posts

Taking care of your DiBond Sign

Simply wipe your aluminium signs with warm soapy water using a non-abrasive cloth to keep it vibrant. To avoid denting or warping, avoid installing them where strong winds could blow objects into them.

How thick are your Dibond signs? Do you offer different thickness options?

Our Dibond signs are 3mm thick, in our experience the 3 mm Dibond signs are extremely durable and sufficiently thick for nearly all uses. However, if you are interested in thicker Dibond signs please contact us for a custom quote

Can I just drill my own holes?

Yes, assuming you have the know-how and proper tools, drilling your own holes is fairly easy. Though for convenience most customers opt for us simply choose to have us drill the holes.

I need holes drilled in custom locations / Can I get more than four drilled holes?

Yes, the standard for drilled holes is one in each corner. If you need more than the standard 4 holes you can contact us on info@premierdisplays.ie

What sizes of metal signs do you offer? Are there a minimum or maximum dimensions my sign has to adhere to?

We offer a number of standard sizes including: are sizes correct on the website?. We have a feature on our website where you can design and order any custom size sign.. Simply use our design tool to customise your dimensions to your needs.

What is the lifespan of your Dibond signs?

With proper care and placement your Dibond signs should last a minimum of five years.

Will my design mean the sign will cost more? / Does 1 colour printing reduce the cost?

If you require us to create a design for you, there is a 50 euro design charge, allowing you to change the design up to 3 times. All of our signs are printed in full colour. Therefore, regardless of what your design might be, it will not impact the cost of your sign. Sign costs are dictated by sign type, size and quantity and design fee

Do you offer double sided Dibond signs?

Yes, any size Dibond sign can be printed as a doubled sided sign. Simply select the double sided option when designing your sign on our design tool. If the back side of your sign has a different image/design than the front side, please contact us on info@premierdisplays.ie.

Do your Dibond signs have a matte or gloss finish?

You can choose from matte or gloss finish when selecting your sign on our website.

Can my sign have a laminate covering placed over top to protect the printed portion of the sign?

Yes! We offer a protective laminate that will coat the entire printed surface of your sign. This coating will provide a vibrant, glossy finish to your sign and will help prevent fading or damage from rain, sunlight, graffiti, and other elements. The laminate also allows you to write on your sign with dry erase markers if you wish to do so.

What can the Dibond signs be used for?

Dibond signs are one of the best and most versatile outdoor signage options available. Will my Dibond sign rust

Your Dibond signs should not rust. This is true even in wet conditions. Aluminium as a metal does not rust. While the sign will not rust, like any other metal, there will be some oxidation over time but your signs should look great for 5+ years with proper care and maintenance. Adding the protective laminate coating we offer will also help prevent any rust on your sign. The bolts and washers you install your sign with need to be rust free as well, otherwise, you may see rust form around your installation hardware on your sign.

Will my Dibond sign bend?

Generally speaking there will be bend or pliability to any Dibond sign, regardless of size. Though for smaller signs there will be significantly less bend than what is seen in larger signs. Also, because our signs include a thick solid core, you will find much less bend. Albeit, for larger signs we recommend that posted signage be secured to a flat surface or to multiple posts rather than just two. Using even just a middle post is usually enough to offset any trouble caused by high winds for bigger signs attached to only two posts.

How do I install my Dibond Signs? / Where can I post my sign?

They can be affixed or mounted on a number of different surfaces. Essentially any rigid surface including brick, concrete, drywall, wood, metal, etc. can be used to mount your signs.To install your signs you’ll need to drill pilot holes into the surface material and then use screws or bolts to mount the sign. If you did not select drilled holes when you ordered your signs you’ll also need to drill holes into the sign itself. However we offer an installation service, where one of our experienced team will install the sign for you.

What is the lifespan of DiBond Signs?

With proper care and maintenance your plastic sign can last 5+ years. With outdoor placement where the sign will be constantly exposed to varying weather conditions, the lifespan may be shortened.

How do I store my Dibond signs?

If needed, your signs can be stored at room temperature in dry conditions. We recommend putting fabric or cardboard in between the signs when stacking or leaning them against each other, this will help protect against inadvertent scratching.
